You’re invited to join a supportive, fun, activity-filled group for Parents/Caregivers and Youth ages 10-14.
Strong African American Families (SAAF) is an interactive and educational program designed to strengthen positive family interactions. SAAF offers a unique approach for youth and family caregivers to build family strength, enhance family and racial pride, and understand risk and protective factors for African-American youth in reducing risky behavior, including alcohol and drug abuse.
A 7-week fun, family-centered program! Youth and Caregivers meet separately for the first component, then together for the second component of the program. All activities focus on Youth development and promoting positive family relationships.
*Dinner will be served at every session and childcare will be available. Families will receive a $150.00 gift card for full attendance upon completion of the program.
