Our Approach to Church, Ministry, and Each Other
The Church is a living, spiritual meta-physical entity and therefore expected to grow, adapt, and change in order to do effective ministry and fulfill the mission and message of Jesus Christ;
The Church functions most effectively when individual members are in deep, non-transactional relationships with God, self, and neighbor and invested and actively engaged in their growth and development as disciples;
Every member has spiritual gifts, natural talents and abilities which can and should be shared in order to edify, equip, and strengthen others in their journey of Christian faith and glorify God;
When possible and where appropriate decisions impacting the general welfare and well-being of the church and congregation are made through the process of formal consensus;
Conflicts and offenses between church members, including leaders, are resolved through an immediate process of interpersonal communication and confrontation with the hope of healing, forgiveness, restoration, resolution, and peace. This process may escalate to different stages involving others if no resolution is initially possible. (by-laws)
